Jeffrey Hattori

Initially joined Nikkei Concerns as Seattle Keiro Administrator in 1999 and returned in March 2010. He most recently worked for Lilly USA in State Government Affairs and has also worked for the Seattle-King County Private Industry Council, Center for Career Alternatives and the Seattle Chinatown International District Preservation and Development Authority. He has served and volunteered on numerous community boards and organizations including currently with the Seattle Chapter Japanese American Citizens League (JACL), national JACL and the NW Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans.

Jeffrey is a graduate of the University of Washington and proud parent of Derrik and Serii.

J. Ellis Haw

Joined Nikkei Concerns in May 2010 as Interim Chief Financial Officer and formally became Nikkei Concerns Chief Financial Officer in December 2010. Ellis has over 30 years of experience in the field of finance. He has worked for several healthcare-related organizations (The Kenney, a CCRC, and MultiCare clinics, Kent Medical Center, Valley Medical Center and others). He is a graduate of the University of Washington and became a CPA in 1972, although no longer active in public accounting. A Seattle native, he is married with four children. He and his wife Joyce enjoy spending time with family and travel as the opportunity presents.

Rick Takeuchi

Joined Nikkei Concerns in March 2010. Rick has over 30 years of experience in the field of human resources. He has worked in the HR departments of Washington Mutual Savings Bank, the Boeing Company, the Seattle Public Schools and most recently the Seattle-King County Public Health Department. Rick was born and raised in Seattle and is a graduate of the University of Washington.

He is happily married and has two teenage sons in high school. Rick is a lifetime member of the Nisei Veterans Committee who has volunteered to help out at numerous NVC sponsored community events over the past several years.

Randi Saeter, MBA, RD

Joined Seattle Keiro and Nikkei Concerns in August of 2010. Randi has over 14 years of experience in the field of dietetics and long-term care. She worked as a foodservice manager and registered dietitian before becoming a licensed nursing home administrator in 2007. "I have worked with people of all ages; from pregnant teens to pre-mature babies, but I am always drawn back to the elderly population of many ethnic backgrounds. That's where my passion is and what I find the most rewarding!" She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition in 1995 and her MBA in 2005. Randi was born and raised in Norway and came to the U.S. in 1991. She has two daughters and one son.

Joined Nikkei Concerns in May 2009. Former Assistant Administrator of Auburn Meadows since 2007. Business Office Director (2002  2003), Assistant Executive Director (2003  2005), and Executive Director (2005  2007) of Evergreen Lodge  an Emeritus assisted living community. Director (1991  1995, 2000 - 2002), Field Coordinator (1995  1998), and Bookkeeper (1998  2000) for Champions Before- and After-School Program for school-age children. Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from The Evergreen State College.
