Cookies, Inc., Executive Director of the Japanese American Chamber of Commerce, and Executive Director
of the Japan-America Society. Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale in Japanese Studies and a Masters in
Business Administration from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Joined Nikkei Concerns in June 2008. Former Administrator of Sequim Health and Rehabilitation
and Aldercrest Health and Rehabilitation Center for Extendicare Health Services and former Regional Vice President,
Evergreen Region, for Life Care Centers of America. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University
of California Irvine and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Behavioral Psychology from the University of Central California.
He has 25 years experience in healthcare administration, and extensive experience in behavior management education and
consultation.
He enjoys working with people and especially appreciates the culturally diverse communities
represented at Nikkei Concerns.
Human Resources Director

Joined Nikkei Concerns in December 2007. Former Human Resources Officer, HIPAA &
Employment Law Compliance Officer with CRISTA Sr. Living. She also has paralegal experience and a
specialization in unemployment processes. She has an ATA degree in Paralegal Studies, a Certificate in
Human Resources, a Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR), and Certified Aging Services
Professional Certification (CASP).
She loves working with people and is deeply gratified by the interesting and culturally
diverse workforce at Nikkei Concerns.

Joined Nikkei Concerns in November 2006. Served in several chief finance positions
for the Washington State Convention Center, King County Library System, King County Surface Water Management
and City of Bellevue Utility Department. Licensed CPA and BA in Business Administration from the UW.
Has a deep passion for our mission and is currently co-chair of Ayame Kai Guild.

Joined Nikkei Concerns in July 2005. Bilingual in Japanese and English and a graduate of the College
of Notre Dame of Maryland in Baltimore. Served as a key deputy to previous Nikkei Manor managers. Previous experience
includes positions in the public, private and non-profit industries in both the U.S. and Japan, including an embassy
in Tokyo. Earned the top (1st) level in Japanese Ikebana Sogetsu Group.
