Thank You State Drugs & Tokuda Drug for Many Years of Partnership!
Rainier Long Term Care Pharmacy Begins in December

For the past 30 years, Nikkei Concerns has worked with two wonderful pharmacies. Originally, State Drugs owned by Sally Tsutsumoto and her late husband, Ben, was the primary pharmacy for Seattle Keiro. Upon their retirement, Floyd Horiuchi established Tokuda Drug which became the primary pharmacy for the elders of Nikkei Concerns. As Tokuda Drug will be closing its doors November 30, 2005, the new primary pharmacy for Seattle Keiro and Nikkei Manor will be Rainier Long Term Care Pharmacy. We at Nikkei Concerns extend a very special thank you to the Tsutsumotos and Floyd Horiuchi for their many years of excellent service in helping Nikkei Concerns provide its elders with quality care. As Nikkei Concerns makes this new transition, the staff looks forward to creating a strong partnership with Rainier Long Term Care Pharmacy.

This change was precipitated in large part to the new Medicare Part D Prescription Drug program. Family meetings are scheduled are scheduled at both Seattle Keiro and Nikkei Manor to introduce Rainier Pharmacy. In addition, Nikkei Manor's meetings will also discuss Medicare D.
