Do you want to know projected costs involved in long-term care, the risks we all face, and why it’s so important to plan ahead? Are you interested in learning about government programs like Medicare and Medicaid and other programs? Do you want to know what to look for in a good long-term care insurance policy? If so, this session is for you!

Seattle Keiro

  • Wish List: Make-up, including lip stick, facial powder, eye brow pencils and eye shadow. The Activities Department also needs a compact refrigerator. If you have these items to donate, please call (206) 323-7100. Thank you.

Nikkei Manor and Kokoro Kai

  • In December, we will have our Christmas Light outings on weekdays. We will need extra volunteers for those outings. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Naoko at (206) 726-6474 or naokou@nikkeiconcerns.org for more information. Also, we are looking for more volunteer entertainers for weekdays in 2005.
  • Kokoro Kai will be closed from December 24th until January 2nd. The center will be open from Monday, January 3rd.

KIDcare

  • KIDcare will be closed on Christmas Eve (Friday, Dec. 24th) and New Year's Eve (Friday, Dec. 31st.)
  • KIDcare is now enrolling for the 2004-05 school year and has openings for children 3- to 5 -years old. Our unique intergenerational program brings young and old together for fun and learning in a culturally diverse and homey environment.
