NIKKEI HORIZONS 15TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION / HEALTH EXPO!
Friday, September 15th from 11 am to 3:30 pm
At the Seattle Buddhist Church

Mark your calendar and save the date! Japanese culture lessons with arts and crafts classes in the gymnasium will give you an opportunity to learn about Japanese customs and artwork. Exercise and dance instructors will demonstrate their specialties. In the classrooms on the second floor of the Memorial Hall will be health and wellness related workshops. Many community healthcare professionals and organizations will have booths set up to share useful information. Light refreshments will be provided for you to enjoy! PLACES TO SEE, THINGS TO DO WITH NIKKEI HORIZONS

Nikkei Horizons Fall Schedule is coming up! Registration will start on Tuesday, September 5th. PLEASE REGISTER AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE!

TOUR HIGHLIGHT

DISCOVER GREATER VANCOUVER AND NIGHT MARKET
On this overnight tour, we will discover more of the greater Vancouver BC area. Stretch your legs in White Rock, BC, a quaint town just north of the border. After crossing the Fraser River, you will see the unique historical waterfront community of New Westminster. Let's have lunch at Westminster Quay Market where you will find local delicatessens and restaurants for lunch on your own. After lunch, we will take a guided tour of Irving House, one of the historical heritage sites in BC. The next discovery is the city of Burnaby. We will visit the Japanese Canadian National Museum and take a guided tour. We will return to New Westminster and check in at the Inn at Westminster Quay, where all guest rooms have a view of the Fraser River. Our next destination will be Richmond, and we will enjoy an early dinner at Also Lounge & Restaurant. Then we will be heading to the Richmond Night Market. You will have a chance to find your favorite vendors, as you will see over 400 booths of Asian food, art & crafts and gifts! Don't forget to bring enough cash for shopping! The next morning, we will explore the waterfront of New Westminster. The last attraction for this tour will be a Paddlewheeler Riverboat lunch cruise.
