Nikkei Horizons Welcomes New Manager
Kaori HigashinoPlease join us in welcoming Kaori Higashino to our Nikkei Concerns family. As the past Program Coordinator at SE Seattle Senior Center and prior to that as an intern at the Wallingford Senior Center, Kaori brings a wealth of experience in development, leadership, interpersonal skills and knowledge required to lead our ever popular and growing program.

Kaori came to Seattle in December of 1999 from Osaka, Japan. She received her degree in Social Services from Evergreen State College and holds an AAS degree in graphic design from Seattle Central Community College. She is also familiar to many staff and residents, especially at Nikkei Manor where she volunteered to design and produce the program brochure for Nikkei Horizons in 2001. Kaori also volunteered for Kokoro Kai for a year and a half before becoming an activity assistant for Nikkei Manor.

We welcome Kaori to her new role at Nikkei Concerns!
