An Afternoon at Seattle Opera
It'll be a Sunday to remember! Prior to the show, enjoy a delicious brunch at the Coldwater Bar and Grill at the Westin Hotel downtown. Then sit back and be entertained by the opera, Die Fledermaus at Seattle's splendid McCaw Hall. This three-hour performance includes waltzes, champagne, costume parties, playful pranks and romance.

Lunch Bunch
Once a month, friends and participants of Nikkei Horizons gather together for a fun lunch outing. The first lunch of the New Year will be at The Pink Door, a sultry Seattle institution in Post Alley near the Pike Place Market serving fabulous Italian-American cuisine. There's usually a little time for shopping or sightseeing along the way.

Safety on the Streets
This workshop offers important safety tips for everyone who ventures out onto our city streets. Learn about what you can do to make every trip out and about a safe one for you and your family. Hear about the important issue of identity theft and tips on how to prevent it from happening to you. Sonja Richter is the Crime Prevention Coordinator from the Seattle Police Department East Precinct. Sonja has worked to form Block Watch groups for the past seventeen years to keep our neighborhoods safe.
