GOOD NUTRITION FOR HEALTHY AGING
Research studies are continually uncovering new evidence about the link between good nutrition and healthy aging. But figuring out how to apply this information to your individual health and wellness goals can be a challenge. Come to this workshop and learn about:

  • The best type of diet for impacting particular risk factors and health issues
  • Nutritional concerns for older adults
  • Strategies for planning balanced meals at home and while dining out
  • Guidelines for choosing the right supplements
Heather Nakamura is a registered dietitian with Master's degrees in both Nutrition and Exercise Physiology.

INTRODUCTION TO SPREADSHEETS
In this Microsoft Excel (Spreadsheet) based class, you will work and develop skills using the spreadsheet designed within the Excel application. You will gain an understanding of the different features and capabilities of the Excel program. In class, you will construct a very simple Household budget and enter mathematical formulas so the computer will do the calculations for you, without any errors.
