Horizons Special Event: Flu Shot Express to Canada
Thur., Nov. 4, 8:30 AM - 6 PM,
Join us on a one-day trip across the border for the coveted flu shot!
We'll take you to a walk-in clinic just across the Canadian border in
Surrey, BC to receive your shot. Enjoy a late lunch in lovely White Rock,
BC before heading back to Seattle. Lunch and the cost of the shot ($20
CA) will be on your own. Nikkei Horizons' charge for transportation is
$25. To register, send your check to: Nikkei Horizons, 700 6th Ave. S.,
Seattle, WA 98104. Travellers to Canada must have either a valid US passport
or official copy of birth certificate with picture ID.

the Christmas Ships - Saturday, Dec. 11, 1-6:30pm, $75
Join Nikkei Horizons for this Seattle Holiday tradition! Experience
the magic onboard as a passenger of the lead Christmas Ship. We'll
start the afternoon with a late lunch at Ivars, then depart from
Pier 56 for our early evening cruise through Puget Sound. Onboard
entertainment and Holiday cheer will warm your heart and lift
your holiday spirits!

Keep
Your Computer Virus-Free - Wednesday, Nov. 10, 9am-12pm
at Kawabe Memorial House, $15
Computer viruses can wreak havok on your personal computer and
your life. This very important workshop, taught by Joe Ike, will
help inform you better about the nature of computer viruses, what
kinds of damage they cause, and how to protect yourself against
them. Don't miss this one!

Holiday Offering - Zouri-Bako Princess Slipper Box
- Saturday, Dec. 4, 10am-1pm at Midori Condos, $20 (includes materials)
We're bringing this one back for the Holidays! These adorable
little oval-shaped treasure boxes make great stocking stuffers!
Using washi paper in ready-made kits, you will assemble one box
in class and have enough materials left over to start another
at home. Mendy and Melisa Akai instruct.
