The Sleeping Beauty promises lavish costumes, sumptuous sets, good versus evil, fairies that really fly and an array of superb classical roles for performances to be remembered happily-ever-after. Prior to the performance we will enjoy a wonderful brunch buffet at Salty's on Alki Beach. Fantastic seafood, delicious sides, and decadent desserts all accompany spectacular views of the Seattle skyline.

LUNCH BUNCH
Join us once a month for lunch in the fine company of your Nikkei Horizons comrades. These outings are a fun way to stay connected with your peers and try new and different restaurants around Puget Sound. Often there's a little time for shopping or sightseeing along the way, as well. The first outing is decided for you, and the last two will be decided by the group from a list of options presented by your escort. Price includes transportation and lunch for your escort and driver (this is a necessary adjustment from last quarter). Participants pay for their own meal. You may join us for all three outings, or just one or two, but be sure to let us know on your registration form which dates you'll attend. Our first lunch will be at Tuna House Japanese Cuisine, near Bellevue Community College, serving fresh and fantastic Japanese food.

10:45 am-2 pm, Wednesdays, April 26, May 24, June 28
Guided Tour: SBC/PL (Limit: 22)
$15 per outing/$40 for all (includes transportation and escort and driver lunch)

SKAGIT RIVER RANCH AND LA CONNER QUILTS
Organic meats and produce are gaining in popularity due to their higher nutritional value and proven health benefits. Skagit River Ranch is a small, family–owned "Certified Organic" farm in Skagit Valley where one family has dedicated 15 years to providing the best-tasting organic beef, pork, chicken and fresh eggs. On this unique outing we will participate in an Organic Educational Tour and enjoy lunch on the ranch. The Vojkovich Family (George, Eiko & Nichole) will provide and host a BBQ lunch just for us using their award-winning 100% organic products! Later, you may want to purchase your own 100% organic food from the gift shop to take home with you. After lunch we'll visit the La Conner Quilt Museum and take a look at the Hawaiian Quilt Inspirations Show, an exhibit of quilts by Hawaiian native, Patricia Lei Murray.

8:30am-4 pm, Thursday, April 27
Guided Tour: SBC/PL (Limit: 22)
$52 (includes transportation, lunch, and museum entrance)
