TOURS

The Seattle Times Tour and Shopping at Country Village in Bothell - Thur., Feb. 10, 9:30am-3pm, $39
Tour the Seattle Times North Creek printing facility in Bothell, then enjoy lunch and an afternoon of shopping at the Country Village.

Historic Hoquiam and Overnight in Ocean Shores - Thur., Feb. 17-Fri., Feb. 18, $175 pp double/$225 single
Escape to Ocean Shores and the beautiful Quinault Beach Resort and Casino for a little beach-strolling, storm watching and gaming if you're so inclined. Along the way we'll partake of historic sites in Hoquiam including the Polson Museum, 7th Street Theater and Hoquiam Castle. Price includes transportation, one-night's accommodation, Hoquiam sightseeing, dinner, breakfast and high tea.

The Seattle Kennel Club Annual Dog Show - Sat., Mar. 12, 9am-2:30pm, $46
Dogs from every group and breed will be represented here with a range of activities to delight and entertain you. Enjoy lunch together at Yoshinobo Japanese Restaurant following the show.

Port Townsend Victorian Festival - Fri., Mar. 18, 7:45am-8pm, $76
The history of this quaint seaport town comes to life in colorful costumes and activities for this annual event. Includes Victorian High Tea at Manresa Castle. Cost of select festival activities will be separate.

Learn to make a beautiful Japanese paper heart-shaped box just in time for Valentine's Day! Supplies need: 2 half-gallon milk cartons, a craft knife, cutting mat, scotch tape, pens, pencils, scissors, ruler.
