Ayame Kai

Ayame Kai LogoAyame Kai was established in 1978 as a volunteer auxiliary of Nikkei Concerns. The guild exists to provide support for Nikkei Concerns' programs. The guild raises funds that directly benefit residents and participants. Guild members organize two annual events: the Spring Rummage Sale in May and the Fall Holiday Crafttsusu charm Fair in November. Both events attract hundreds of supporters. The guild also raises funds through selling 14K gold tsuru (crane) pendants, Entertainment Coupon Books, and through countless volunteer hours.

Ayame Kai meets the third Wednesday of every month except July, August and December at Seattle Keiro. We welcome both men and women as members.

Ayame Kai raises funds for Nikkei Concerns' programs through our
annual rummage sale held in May and the holiday craft fair in Nov.
Because of the monies raised from the rummage sale and craft fair, Ayame Kai is able to provide for non-recurring expenditures which are outside the
annual operating budget and which directly benefits the residents and
participants of Nikkei Concerns programs.
