Aging Successfully

More people are living longer, and baby-boomers are entering into their senior years. Countries like Japan, Italy, China, and Sweden are seeing more centenarians. In a recent Health Olympics report, Japan was ranked the fi rst nation for "long-life" while the U.S. was ranked 30th. The information about Japan and America's health and longevity should be of particular interest to Japanese Americans carrying on Japanese cultural heritage and living in today's America.
