More people are living longer, and
baby-boomers are entering into their
senior years. Countries like Japan,
Italy, China, and Sweden are seeing
more centenarians. In a recent Health
Olympics report, Japan was ranked
the fi rst nation for "long-life" while the
U.S. was ranked 30th. The information
about Japan and America's health and
longevity should be of particular interest
to Japanese Americans carrying on
Japanese cultural heritage and living in
today's America.
